Amol is a city in northern Iran, in the province of Mazandaran. Amol is an historical city, with its age dating back to the Amalds. Amards were the people living in the area before Aryans. Some believe that the city’s name is derived from same Amard word. Amol is located on the banks of Haraz River, it is about 18 Km from the Caspian Sea and about 1 Km from the northern Alborz mountains. Many touristic attraction all in this city such as the mashed Mir Shrine, Mirza Kouchak Khan Natural Park, Lar Tulip Valley, Malek Castle and many more.
